How to find the right journal for your research

There are a few tools available to help you decide which journal is the most relevant for your research.

First you can enter the title or abstract of your paper into an online tool JANE.

This tool will make a comparison with the literature in the PubMed database, the result is a list of similar papers.

Then you can then take one or more of the search results and paste the titles into another online tool, connected papers, which will find relevant papers connected to your query.

From there you can identify which papers are most similar to your work and where they have been published.

Note that Connected Papers isn’t entirely free, you are limited to 5 free queries a month!
