So recently I have been doing some photography and playing around in GIMP (the image manipulation program).
I’m having a LOT of fun with it so I decided, as an experiment, to open an etsy shop for digital art.

‘Big Mama’
This is ‘Big Mama’ one of the chickens we had growing up, she was an absolute queen and you did not mess with her.
I used an old photo (briefly did photography club at school). I can still remember the smell of the lovely chemicals in that room. After playing around with the image in gimp and using a textured gold background (because, don’t forget she is royalty) I gave her a funky hue and a golden glint in her eye.
