I’m a molecular biologist/bioinformatician who explores evolutionary questions using sequence data. I started off learning command-line tools in Unix and went on to learn R and Python programming. These have become a holy trinity of skills that I use on a daily basis for my work and I am forever working on improving these skills.
This blog is an opportunity to give back what I have learned and hopefully make the learning process less steep for others. In the future I will be posting some tutorials, starting right from the beginning, so that you can get stuck in yourself.
Meanwhile, all of my scripts and methods are freely available on github which you can check out here.
I hope you find this blog useful!
